Cooking Greens: bok choy, spring raab, mini cabbage (green and napa), cauliflower, broccoli, chard, beet greens
Summer fruits: tomatoes, sweet corn, zucchini, straight-neck yellow squash, eggplants (purple and white), bell peppers, jalapeños, aji peppers
Legumes: green beans, snow peas, sugar snap peas
Alliums: bunching onions (scallions), bulb onions, hardneck garlic, garlic scapes, leeks
Roots: kohlrabi (purple and white), radish, golden beets, hakurei turnips
Winter squash/Pumpkin: butternut, sweet mama, orange magic, Lakota squash, pie pumpkins
Test Runs: We're trying out some early-maturing varieties of okra and canteloupe. If successful we should have those available this year.
We won't sell it if we wouldn't eat it.
While “organic” or “naturally grown” certification is impractical in interior Alaska, our growing practices are aligned with certified naturally grown standards. We use low-till/no-till practices to build soil health. We avoid synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. We use natural fertilizers and soil amendments like compost, manures, fish hydrolysate, bone meal, alfalfa meal, and green manures. We rely on beneficial plants, cover crops, crop rotation and good soil management for pest control.
We feed our family from the same garden we sell to you from so you can be confident we're not cutting corners on quality.
CSA: We are not offering CSA shares for 2025 but we hope to for 2026. Check for updates in fall 2025.
FUTURE: We are working to establish ramps and sea kale this year. If successful we may have a limited amount of each available in 2026, but 2027 is more likely.
