Creations

My fiber creations are a personal exploration, a way of expressing myself through the gifts we harvest right here on our farm. I've always been passionate about animals and art, and I also have a practical streak, so, it's only natural that those passions would combine into the wearable, functional, and one-of-a-kind pieces and unique ornaments that I create.

These creations begin with the fiber from our small herd of angora goats, a few sheep, rabbits, and exotic poultry. Each piece represents a journey, from the joy of raising these animals, to the shearing, processing, handspinning, and hand-dyeing of the fiber. Then comes the knitting, crocheting, felting, or weaving—the process of melding fibers, textures, and colors into luxurious and practical wares and unique, whimsical ornaments.
